First thought:
I think my memory has jogged on with Jo.
I have this amazing ability to forget stuff I don't wanna remember, perhaps she is one? Although I don't know.
It is rough. I have 2 friends that have completed chemo and are fine, Doc says to check every 6 months and to expect a recurrance in about 5 years. I always thought that if you could be cancer free for 5 years you had a clear road to old age.
I have noticed (from scanning the obits) that people either live too long, well into their 90's and 100's, or die too young, in their 40's or 50's.
Being 71 is a gift I guess, Mom lived to be 86 and she would be alive today had we not had that awful accident (she lived 4 years after that) so I think I may have her genes. Although we were oposites in so many ways, no cancer or senility in my family. Okay, maybe a little nutso, but not enough to put me away. I hope.
Second thought: KELLY: YOU LURK!!?????
